Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Greek filmmaker Dinos Dimopoulos directed this moving adaptation of the novel by Yiannis Maris-Tsirimokos concerning a woman named Mando (Anna Synodinou) who is startled into hysteria by the sight of a man (Michalis Nikolinakkos) whom she glimpses on a train while she is driving to Nafplion with her husband (Yiorgos Pappas) and some friends. When the group attends a performance of the classic tragedy Medea at the famous theater at Epidavros, Mando sees the same man once more, and he is registered at the same hotel as she and her party. Eventually, Mando realizes that she was in love with the mysterious stranger 15 years ago, and he had been shot before her eyes when they were both fighting in the resistance movement against the Nazi invaders, presumably to death. All of her old feelings for him come flooding back, and Mando is almost ready to leave her husband and children to be with him again, but he leaves once more, as suddenly as he had appeared. Yiorgos Gavrielidis co-stars with Georges Sarri and Demos Starenios.
