When a kindhearted Latino woman takes in a former banking genius-turned-suicidal fugitive, the pair engage in a series of intense philosophical discussions that soon climax in a passionate affair. Once upon a time, Bill was the golden boy of the banking industry -- a financial wiz who specialized in buying and selling the debts of emerging countries. These days, Bill is a wanted man, and a run-in with the law means a stiff prison sentence. One day, while contemplating suicide, Bill crosses paths with Angela, a free-spirited woman whom he would have never known in his former life. While Bill and Angela share little in common when it comes to their backgrounds, their stimulating conversations about sex, philosophy, and other earthly delights lead them both to realize they have more in common than they previously thought. Now, as the pair enters into a heated affair, the course of Bill's life begins to take an abrupt and unexpected turn.
