Nova takes a close look at these graceful and powerful champion athletes in Animal Olympians, and compares their skills with those of their human counterparts. The cheetah is represented here, with its bursts of speed up to 65 mph. But even humankind's best Olympic abilities pale beside the everyday accomplishments of these creatures. A human could never match the spectacular breath-holding feats of a sperm whale (82 minutes), and as yet, no one has ever been seen actually walking on water like the Jesus Christ lizard.
