Synopsis by Bhob Stewart

This "Mondo O.J." documentary was produced and directed by Mark Steven Shepherd, who was working as a cameraman for CNN during the 1996-97 O.J. Simpson civil trial. Fascinated with the people, events and sideshow spectacle outside the Santa Monica courthouse, Shepherd dropped out of freelance camerawork to make this low-budget film featuring unemployed hecklers, opinionated placard-holders, singers and composers (The 12 Days of O.J.), food vendors, police, memorabilia peddlers, and assorted wackos surrounding the courthouse, plus scenes of tourists at the O.J. and Simpson houses and a Marcia Clark book signing. Shown at the 1998 Mill Valley Film Festival.
