After several drawing-room melodramas, the Selig Polyscope Company's leading man, Harold Lockwood, returned to the wilderness in this Northwest Mounted Police story about an officer forced to track down his best friend (Guy Oliver), the villain who molested the girl they both love. The latter was played by Stella Razetto, the wife of the film's director, Edward J. Le Saint.
