Synopsis
Eleven Nobel laureates muse on the world's problems and promise in a documentary that marks the 100th anniversary of the Nobel prizes for Chemistry, Physics, Physiology and Medicine, Literature and Peace. The narrator is novelist Nadine Gordimer (Literature, 1991). Other recipients: David Baltimore (Medicine, 1975); Paul Berg (Chemistry, 1980); J. Michael Bishop (Medicine, 1989); Murray Gell-Martin (Physics, 1969); Desmond Tutu (Peace, 1984); Elie Wiesel (Peace, 1985).
