Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
In this drama, psychiatrist's patient tells his sad story which is seen via flashback. The trouble begins when his neurotic wife encourages him to steal from his company. Unfortunately, he is caught in the act by the boss. He is then arrested and imprisoned. Upon his release he returns home to discover that his wife has fallen for another. He then tries find a job so he can support his little daughter and demented mother. When his daughter bruises her knee, the father is inspired to have her pretend to be crippled so they can scare some much needed cash from a insurance policy. Their ploy works until the daughter comes to believe that she really is a cripple.
