Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Jeffrey Radice's non-fiction biography No No: A Dockumentary tells the life story of major league pitcher Dock Ellis, who is most well-known for throwing a no-hitter while he claimed he was hallucinating on LSD. The filmmakers reveal that there was much more to his career than that infamous tale, and that his outsized personality and racial pride made him an outspoken and important figure in baseball history. The movie also touches on his personal demons that led him to turn to drugs. No No: A Dockumentary screened at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.
