Prolific American composer Alvin Lucier reflects on works from all stages of his career while performing concerts in the Netherlands and Switzerland, and paying a visit to his hometown of Middletown, Connecticut. Topics of conversation include his 1969 composition "I Am Sitting in a Room", his tenure with the Sonic Arts Union, his stint as a professor at Wesleyan University, and his relationships with David Tudor and John Cage.
