This offbeat documentary visits celebrated ventriloquist Nina Conti in the period immediately following the death of her paramour-cum-mentor, Ken Campbell. En homage to Ken, Nina takes his latex and wooden puppets on a lengthy journey to "Venthaven," the Valhalla of dead puppets. Along the way, she gets to know the toys one-on-one and engages in a process of self-deconstruction and deconstruction of Ken.
