News Bloopers is a compilation of the silly mistakes made by newscasters and news crews from around the world, all caught on tape. Although some of the clips have been featured on various television shows, including NBC's Bloopers and Practical Jokes, hosted by Dick Clark and Ed McMahon, Time Life presents these comical outtakes in one subject-specific collection. Enhancements include silly sound effects and clip introductions. The introductions include technical instruction where necessary to help the viewer understand the equipment used in broadcast journalism, and the comedy that ensues when equipment malfunctions.
