This anime adventure centers on Kenshiro, a loner who travels a post-apocalyptic landscape. He encounters the personal army of Sanga, a ruthless warlord who controls a city known as Last Land. Sanga maintains control with the help of an amnesiac mute child who performs card tricks and keeps the populace of the city frightened with his supposed powers. When Sanga attempts to consolidate his power, Kenshiro decides to stop him.
