Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
A son of a former matinee-idol, Francis X. Bushman, Jr., starred in this cheaply produced crime melodrama. Bushman, Jr. plays Johnny Adams, an undercover customs officer who saves a damsel in distress from a torture chamber set up by a gang of smugglers. This film was one in a series of inexpensive potboilers starring young Bushman and produced by poverty row company Goodwill. If a surviving entry such as Dangerous Traffic (1926) is anything to go by, the series was high on action and fisticuffs and low on characterizations and coherent storylines. Never a major star like his father, Francis X. Bushman, Jr. later acted under the name Ralph Bushman.
