Synopsis by Cammila Collar
After suffering yet another defeat by an Angel, Asuka's facade of cocky self-assuredness drops completely and she succumbs to her deep emotional frailty. As her synch ratio drops so dramatically that she isn't able to pilot her Eva at all, another Angel attacks, forcing her to pilot as Rei's backup despite her problems. This Angel's powers are telepathic, however, and it forces Asuka to confront the trauma of her childhood that she's tried so hard to forget.
