Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
The odd perspective of a painfully introverted man is put across in this psychological drama by first-time director Cristian Lorca. Nemesio (Andres del Bosque) heads up a department in a Santiago office until downsizing leaves him nothing to head. Chagrined at being forced to take a lower position in another part of the company, he looks for some way to express his disappointment and frustration. Nothing seems to work. He tries to date a woman from the office, and that falls through, and even a session with a call-girl is best forgotten. At home, he has his disabled mother to take care of, it just seems that any adjustment to the loss of his position will not come easily.
