Synopsis
Spider expert Martin Nicholas tries to learn what powers Spider-Man shares with real spiders; and what abilities they have that the comic-book hero could benefit from. Along the way, he meets Spider-Man's creator, Stan Lee; observes the Tucson blond tarantula, whip scorpion and jumping spider in the Arizona desert; sets off in search of the rare blind cave tarantula in Mexico; and heads into the French Guiana jungle to find a goliath bird-eater tarantula.
