Synopsis by Alice Day
As the world becomes more attuned to high-tech developments, many individuals find a need to return to a more natural environment seldom seen in large, overcrowded cities. Nature Perfected, the Story of the Garden: Grounds for Change is an account of efforts to re-create oases of greenery that remind people of the countryside and a time when life was simpler and slower. These gardens can be seen in the atriums of city buildings, city parks, golf courses, and areas on college campuses. Host William Howard Adam tours several of these urban gardens and discusses man's need for green spaces.
