Synopsis by Alice Day

In Africa's harsh landscape, the availability of water can mean the difference between life and death. National Geographic travels to the Luvuvhu River in National Geographic Video: Last Feast of the Crocodiles, where the life-sustaining water teems with crocodiles. During a drought, the situation deteriorates, and animals must risk their lives for a drink from a source that is drying up. While the crocodiles enjoy an advantage, there are scenes of interaction with other animals, and at one point, they are attacked by baboons, enraged that one of their troop has been taken. But nature has the upper hand, and in the end, the crocodile may not emerge a winner.
