Synopsis by John Schietinger
Aimed for the shorter attention span of children, National Geographic for Kids: I Love Dinosaurs is 84 minutes long and separated into two distinct segments. The first part follows renowned paleontologist Paul Sereno as he uncovers the fossils of a new dinosaur species and spends two years assembling it; the second segment tells the story of Sue, the first complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton ever found and re-assembled. The program also features a number of dinosaur trivia sections, with kids answering dinosaur-related questions. The information in the video is presented simply and lively, but still maintains a high level of educational value for kids.
