Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Turkish-Italian director Ferzan Özpetek’s Italian noir thriller revolves around Adriana (Giovanna Mezzogiorno), a Naples-based medical examiner who is seduced by a younger man (Alessandro Borghi) one night. The next day, she finds his corpse – with his eyes gouged out – on her examination table. As she begins to investigate his mysterious murder, she begins to catch glimpses of his doppelgänger.
