Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Hiroshi Okuhara directs this unstated drama about a quartet of twenty-somethings adrift in a resort town on the Izumi peninsula. Kensaku (Sakutaro Inui) has been working for the past three years as a clerk at the Nishi Ito hotel while caring for a dying old man who may be his relation. With his lanky good looks he is also something of a lady-killer. Therefore when his old flame Mika (Asako Kobayashi) informs him that she's running around with his former college buddy, he's bummed out. Around then, Yuka (Chiharu Konno) arrives and requests a single when she reserved a double. Correctly surmising that she's fleeing a shattered relationship, Kensaku offers a shoulder to cry and soon a futon to sleep in. Later, Yuka and Mika meet and soon the three form an uneasy group of sorts. Yet when Kensaku's thug friend Tatsu (Tatsushi Omori) show ups with designs on Mika, things suddenly turn violent.
