Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Half Korean, half Japanese student Junko (Lee Cheong Ah) travels to Seoul in search of her true love, and forms an unlikely bond with a callous tutor who offers to give her Korean lessons in exchange for a room at a wild boarding house. Junko was living in Japan when she fell in love with a handsome Korean student. Determined to find him, she becomes an exchange student and enrolls at a Seoul university. When Junko learns that the object of her affections has joined the army, she grows leery at the prospect of staying in a boarding house filled with mischievous young men. But when Junkio attempts to seek lodging elsewhere, the owner's abrasive son Jongman (Park Ki Woong) steps in and offers to help her brush up on her Korean. At first Junko views Jongman as a mere nuisance - an observation only strengthened by his insistence on teaching her slang and curses rather than conversational Korean. The more time the two spend together, however, the less frequent their bickering becomes as Junko realizes that Jongman is s decent guy who just happens to make an awful first impression.
