A troubled boy gets his own personal superhero in this short comedy from filmmaker Pablo Larcuen. Tomas (Pablo Vazquez) is a boy who is so painfully shy he's unable to speak, not even to his own parents. Tomas struggles with a life in which he's incapable of expressing himself until the day he meets Andy (Sergio Huguet); Andy is Tomas's new friend who appears to him and encourages him to speak boldly as he stands by to defend him. While Andy brings some welcome changes to Tomas's life, he also happens to be invisible to everyone but Tomas, making his actions seem more than a bit curious to outsiders. Mi Amigo Invisible (aka My Invisible Friend) was an official selection at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
