Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Morton Draper (Tom Terriss, who also directed) has invented a new explosive that he plans to give to the United States. But a group of foreign spies wants to get their hands on the formula for their own country. They screw up their plans, however, when Draper is sent to jail for a murder he didn't commit. Undaunted, they break the young inventor out of prison and hold the escape over his head so that he will give them the formula. He pretends to go along, but he finally refuses to come up with the goods, the patriotic vow, "My country first!" on his lips. In retaliation, the spies are about to kill him, but the secret service, headed by Anderson (Harold Vosburgh) arrives in the nick of time.
