Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In this Fox Network reality series, a beautiful and unattached young woman was ardently courted by 20 eligible suitors. The gimmick here was that all 20 men wore masks, forcing the damsel to determine her final choice on personality, voice and behavior rather than looks (in the first episode alone, ten would-be Romeos were eliminated). The series was hosted by former White House intern Monica Lewinsky, a fact that flies in the face of all traditional efforts to make a critical comment. Created by Robert Kosberg and Bruce Nash, Mr. Personality debuted April 21, 2003.
