Synopsis

One of TV's earliest lawyer shows originated as a radio program in 1939. Both starred Jay Jostyn as DA Paul Garrett: 'Champion of the people. Defender of truth. Guardian of our fundamental rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.' A syndicated 'Mr. District Attorney' aired from 1954 to '55 with David Brian in the lead.
