This performance of Mozart's Requiem took place on December 5, 1991 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of his death. Sir Georg Solti conducts this performance at St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, where the Mozart's original funeral rites were read, in the style of a funeral mass in remembrance of the composer.
