Mowgli (Rohan Chand) is raised by a wolf named Nisha (Naomie Harris) and befriends a bear named Baloo (Andy Serkis) and a panther named Bagheera (Christian Bale), who teach him how to survive. Though he carves a place for himself in the wild, he finds himself drawn to a nearby human village, where he's taken in by Messua (Freida Pinto). When violence breaks out between a white poacher (Matthew Rhys) and the animal kingdom, Mowgli must bridge his two worlds. Directed by Andy Serkis. Based on Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book."
