This ten-volume series chronicles the lives and times of the artist community at Montparnasse in Paris. From the 1890s through World War II, the name Montparnasse was synonymous with art and bohemian living. The cafe society was the place where artists and writers met to exchange ideas. The series takes a look at some of the influential people and ideas that came out of those special times.
