Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The History Channel documentary series MonsterQuest charted the exploits of those intrepid souls dedicated to "Crypotozoology", or the study of mysterious creatures. Using photography, film, video, physical evidence and eyewitness interviews, the series followed various investigative teams in search of famous monsters and legends. The first episode probed the truth behind the Loch Ness monsters, while subsequent installments disseminated information both new and old about Sasquatch, the Giant Squid of Mexico, Russia's "Killer Apeman", Werewolves, UFOs, documented hauntings, and other things that go bump in the night (and the day). Originally telecast on a weekly 60-minute basis, MonsterQuest was first seen on October 31, 2007--Halloween, of course.
