A hard luck garage band fights to make the big time, but finds only further disappointment with each unappreciated, under attended gig. Christian is the singer for The French, an indie rock band without a fan to call their own. When his pal Tom 2 isn't obsessing over breath mints, he's trying to whip up some mean guitar licks. Meanwhile, their drummer Grace is a self-proclaimed anarchist, and their bassist Tom 1 does his best to hit the right notes. Just when Christian started to feel like his bad luck couldn't get any worse, The French go on tour and he discovers the true definition of disappointment.
