Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
Opposing views of young people, sex, and religion are inadvertently expressed in this teen-oriented film on the nature of love. The 16-year-old Mona (Anna-Leena Harkonen) hangs out with a fairly free and loose group of friends who indulge in drinking and sex on a regular basis. Her new boyfriend tries to seduce her but gets almost nowhere. Mona eventually is inspired by a religious group to follow Jesus more in the manner of a nun than a young woman, and so she devotes herself to that pursuit. While devout Christians might cheer the second half of the film, the slightly salacious would cheer the first half -- leaving the average viewer caught between two extremes.
