A top-secret government experiment yields terrifying results in this gory, low-budget homage to the fright flicks of the 1980s. In their efforts to defeat dangerous drug cartels and decimate coca fields, government scientists genetically engineer a hyper-aggressive strain of mold. When the airborne mold displays an insatiable hunger for human flesh, however, the same scientists once tasked with creating it, must prevent it from escaping the lab, and infecting the outside world.
