Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This "survival" series was hosted by Jane Buckingham, longtime New York Times contributor and "trend correspondent" for cable's Style Network. Never pretending to be aimed at the average, blue-collar viewer, the series demonstrated the best and most fashionable way to live in the "hip new world" on a daily basis, with tips on clothing, entertainment, career decisions, and vacations. In addition, Buckingham and the production crew offered sage advice to the 21st century woman on matters of sex and finance. Modern Girl's Guide to Life first aired June 23, 2003.
