Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Iva Seldon (Mary McLaren) models clothes for Armande, a modiste. Gold digger Violet Challoner (Edna Earle) has convinced her lover, Billy Ravensworth (Kenneth Harlan), to overdraw his account, so Armande has Iva go to her apartment to get the gowns back. But while she is there, one of Violet's other lovers, Bertrand Seldon (Herbert Prior), shows up and gives her a check to pay for the purchases. Iva sees the name on the check and realizes Seldon is her father who, years ago, deserted her mother. She plans to apprise him of that fact on his own turf -- in the social world. She gets some fancy clothes and convinces Billy, who has been dumped by Violet, to make her introduction into society. This way, she meets Seldon, who falls in love with her -- as has Billy, who doesn't realize Seldon is her father. Seldon invites Iva on a trip and in the limo, he gropes for her. That's when Iva drops the bomb about her paternity. The eavesdropping chauffeur is so stunned by what he's hearing that he gets in an accident which kills Seldon. Iva lives through it and after she explains everything to Billy, they are married.
