Synopsis by Steve Blackburn
This video features highlights of Baseball Hall-of-Famer Nolan Ryan pitching his seventh and last "no-hitter" game in a 3-0 Texas Ranger win over Toronto on May 1, 1991. Ryan's accomplishment of seven no-hitters was a Major League record; in his career, Ryan pitched three more no-hitters than the legendary Sandy Koufax. Ryan's catcher that day was Mike Stanley. Ironically, an hour before starting the game, the 44-year-old Ryan told Rangers pitching coach Tom House that he felt tired and old.
