Synopsis by Nathan Southern
This family-oriented, CG-animated opus was produced in Spain but sports an English-language soundtrack. An elaborate, intrinsically comic sci-fi fantasy, it concerns a group of "Micos" aliens - genial three-eyed extraterrestrials desperate to save their home planet, Moc, from an energy crisis plaguing it. Its life essence, it seems, comes from an element known as "limbar," now rapidly deteriorating; the dissipation threatens to extinguish the lives of all inhabitants. The local crowned head, Queen Pola, launches an expedition to locate "Áloma," a legendary source of life energy that may be the only option for saving Moc. Thus, four young aliens - Gobi, Mina, Lilium and Lalo - are tapped to lead the mission and embark on a series of fantastic adventures in attempt to bring salvation to their world.
