Synopsis by Clare Perez-Izaguirre Lopez
This stop-motion film from the animation studio Laika is written and directed by Chris Butler. It follows Pacific Northwest dwelling Mr. Link (Zach Galifianakis), an 8 feet tall yeti-like species who enlists the help of intrepid explorer Sir Lionel Frost (Hugh Jackman) and keen adventurer Adelina Fortnight (Zoe Saldana) in order to find his long-lost ancestors located in Shangri-La. It’s an epic journey across difficult terrain for this trio, with Mr. Link proving to be anything but inconspicuous along the way.
