A kindly beetle that has recently discovered she may be a princess sets out on a magical journey to explore her royal heritage in an animated adventure produced to show children the value of individuality. Upon receiving word that she may be the long-lost descendent of a noble bloodline, Shimmer and her good friend Miss Spider hop into a hot air balloon to make their way to Mushroom Glen and confer with the Royal Jewel Beetles. They say that getting there is half the fun, and as Shimmer and Miss Spider embark on the journey of a lifetime, they're bound to remember their trip together forever no matter what the outcome.
