Synopsis by Sandra Brennan

This drama comments upon the effects of sudden tremendous fame as it chronicles the rise and fall of an American pop singer. The film's subject is the Minotaur, a fictionalized pop star patterned after Elvis. The film is set at the end of his career and traces his rise in the 1950's where he became an American pop icon, to his early death in the 1970's. Included are scenes from his concerts, his crazed fans, and eventual drug addiction. While the tone of the film sounds campy, in reality it is not. In one of the first scenes the doped-up Minotaur is seen basking in his champagne glass shaped pool with a lovely young woman whom he suddenly strangles with no warning.
