Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Arthur Guy Empey was an American World War I hero who went on to make films and write pulp fiction. In fact, he sometimes combined both professions by filming his novels. The story to this drama, for example, was his own. Bobbie Walters (Empey) manages to beat out his rivals and earn a large sum of money on Wall Street. But his success is short-lived -- soon enough, the sharks return and they break him. Walters is down but not out. He is determined to make his way back to the top, and his sweetheart, Dorothy Wright (Florence Evelyn Martin), is there to give him her support. Starting from scratch in the oil business, Walters keeps a lookout for the bad guys this time around. Even though his enemies still manage to dynamite his oil derricks, Walters is able to turn things around and win out over the villains. He walks away with a cool million and weds Dorothy.
