Anetta and Boy are a 12-year old boy and girl. They believe that they are in love with one another. They each have to make trips to meet relatives in the countryside and agree to meet up before they are due at their relatives someplace where they can spend time together. Instead, a number of mishaps lead to their spending most of the time they had planned on spending with each other hitchhiking to their rendezvous.
