The U.S.S. Missouri is a battleship with a long and distinguished career, which ended after more than 50 years of service to her country. This documentary, narrated by U.S.S. Missouri Naval officer Wes Carey, presents a fond look at the trials, triumphs, and tribulations of "Mighty Mo." Archival film clips, photographs, personal accounts, and a comprehensive tour of the ship tell her history. This first volume in the three-part series covers Mighty Mo's campaigns in the Pacific theater during WWII, culminating in the historic surrender ceremony which took place on her deck.
