Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this Hungarian family drama, a divorced woman (Erika Bodnar) brings her lover, a plain-clothes policeman, into her home. She is horrified when it appears that he is romantically far more interested in her teenaged musician son (Robert Csontos) than in her. The boy is so unsettled by the man's attentions that he hatches a plot to get revenge on the older man. The film starts as a quasi-comedy, turns into a domestic drama, and then verges on Gothic horror as the twisted romantic triangle gets played out.
