Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Evelyn Brent has a dual role in this drama -- one of the characters is a thief, a character similar to the one she played in Silk Stocking Sal. Midnight Molly (Brent) is caught while trying to steal a painting. In her attempt to elude the police, she is hit by a car and taken to the hospital. She is mistaken for Margaret Warren (also Brent), who is the wife of mayoral candidate John Warren (Bruce Gordon). Margaret has just run off with George Calvin (Leon Bary), and to avoid a scandal, Warren takes Molly home and gets her to pretend she is Margaret. Calvin, who knows the truth, returns hoping to blackmail Warren; meanwhile, Detective Daley (John Dillon) wants to get the goods on Molly. He tries to force her to submit to fingerprinting, but she manages to drag Margaret back to do it for her. Margaret and Calvin die in a car accident, so Warren is free to marry the now-reformed Molly.
