Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

When Pop Brown went to meet his maker at the ripe old age of 107, the 400 dollars he left to his grieving family wasn't even enough to cover the cost of his modest funeral. For the past eleven years, eldest son L.B. and his wife Sarah were the only ones who cared for Pop, but when the funeral funds run short, L.B. and Sarah's daughter, Mi-Lay, quickly arrives on the scene to cover the remainder of the bill. As the rest of the Brown family arrives to bid Pop his final farewell, the best and the worst of the family unit brings joys of laughter and tears to the grieving family. Penned by Diary of a Mad Black Woman scribe Tyler Perry, Meet the Browns contains all of the unique and sometimes touching insight that has made Perry a popular figure of stage and screen.
