Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith

This program is part of the Medieval Warfare set that studies the large-scale battles fought in Europe in medieval times. Each program dramatically re-creates key battles and uses maps, graphs, and artwork to help viewers grasp the full intensity of these confrontations. This volume focuses on the battle fought in Agincourt, France, by the French Army and the British forces. Though the French had 30,000 men ready to wage war on October 25, 1415, and felt certain they'd prevail, King Henry V and his British troops soundly defeated them.
