This hard hitting documentary takes a look at the 14 Tibetan nuns who, having been imprisoned by the Chinese government, secretly recorded their voices as they sang songs of freedom. They got the tape out of the prison, but their sentences were extended 5-9 years after its discovery by the government. Reuniting in England in 2008, 15 years after the event, the nuns perform the songs they paid such a heavy price for.
