With Col. Blake in Seoul, Frank (Larry Linville) and Margaret (Loretta Swit) are left in charge of the 4077th, while Hawkeye (Alan Alda) is appointed officer of the day. No sooner has this been settled than Hawkeye has a run-in with his old nemesis, CIA agent Col. Flagg (Edward Winter). With his usual mixture of imperiousness and paranoia, Flagg demands that a captured North Korean be quickly patched up in the operating room for the purposes of interrogation -- and later, execution.
