Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

A strange woman named Doña Carmen puts mentally perturbed men and women to work making glasses out of bottles -- as discarded and devalued by society as the workers themselves. While the greedy doña does not pay her workers any money, she rakes in a profit from the sale of the glasses -- a fact which alerts a local teen gang to the possibility of hidden lucre somewhere on the premises. They have Alejandro (Pablo Serra), one of their number insinuate himself into the Doña's household, where he meets the lovely Maruja (Elena Romero) and is immediately attracted to the young woman -- Doña Carmen's god-daughter. As Maruja and Alejandro work out their relationship, there is mayhem and murder and violence -- which does not do anything to improve the less-than-believable "lunatic" environment of the glass factory, or the garbled social message that may underlie the scenario of the underprivileged and exploited workers.
